Craighead Beringia South is a non-profit science and education institute located in Kelly, Wyoming, situated on the north bank of the Gros Ventre river, ten miles from the confluence with the Snake River in the heart of Grand Teton National Park. As a non-profit (501[c]3) organization, it is supported by the private sector, and its unique research approach affords flexibility, continuity and a creative intellectual environment.
The mission of Craighead Beringia South is to contribute new knowledge toward improving the management and conservation of our natural environment by pursuing innovative, long-term field investigations on key ecosystem components upon which all life depends.

Craighead Beringia South is pleased to announce the reduced price sale of non-lead hunting ammunition in Jackson Hole for the 2010 season! Following up with last years amazingly successful non-lead ammo distribution program, we will be selling boxes of Federal Premium ammuntion packed with Barnes Triple-Shock X bullets (see video below) at the Northern Rockies Conservation Cooperative office located above High Country Flies at 185 N. Center St. in Jackson. Boxes of ammuntion for popular calibers will be sold on Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:00-7:00 pm and other calibers not in stock can be ordered at the discounted rate.
